Dancing around the truth
The desire we both feel
Never saying anything
Not making it real
How long can we do this?
How long will it take
Before the inevitable happens
And one of us breaks?
Our friendship is strong
Never will it fade
So why do we deny this?
Why are we so afraid?
If only we could take the plunge
And admit to this romance
Our lives would then be complete
