"Jesse, would you PLEASE stop crying?" Brennan sighed. "Look, I'm SORRY. It was just a joke!"

"Some joke," Jesse sniffled, as the tears continued to flow from his eyes. "You're such a jerk sometimes!"

"How was I supposed to know you were going to react like this?" Brennan protested as Jesse tossed a tear-soaked tissue onto the pile, grabbing for another.

"I TOLD you before how sensitive I am!" Jesse scowled through red-rimmed eyes. "I can't believe you did that to me!"

"Jess, I'm sorry!" Brennan apologized as Jesse sniffled, wiping at his eyes.

"No, you're not," Jesse glared. "You're dying to laugh!"

"Well, yeah...." Brennan admitted reluctantly. "C'mon! It was just an onion slice and a dust bunny under your pillow! How was I supposed to know it would turn on Niagara Falls?"

"Oh, shut up and get me a Benadryl...."
